Hope you're all doing well! It's been a while since I've posted anything... life has been busy! But, that doesn't mean all if forgotten!
It's been a while since we caught up from Dylan and Vaughn, so in honor of the big hearts and flowers holiday, I whipped up a little love note from Vaughn to Dylan.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
….and you’re rolling your eyes right now, I know it. Good thing I’m just kidding. I know you’re not the type of girl who wants poems, and flowers, and “schmoopy” behavior on Valentine’s Day. In fact, when I asked you last week what you wanted to do for the big day of hearts and flowers, your only response had been something chocolate to eat while we watched the Bruins game, and just to spend time with me. Which, I’ll be honest, got me right in the feels. Because, Boston, as much as you think you’re not the hearts and flowers and schmoopy kind of girl, you are for me, and I freaking love that. I love that you show me your soft side. I love that you’re not afraid to be vulnerable with me. I love the way you smile at me because even though you’re always smiling, it’s always bigger when you’re smiling at me. And that’s another thing that just makes me feel all warm and gushy on the inside. So even though I didn’t intend to get sappy in this note, I’m sorry, I went there. Actually, I’m not sorry because here’s a little more. Dylan, I want to thank you for being in my life. For your uncanny ability to always make me laugh when I need it. For always supporting me. For making every single day better than the last. For choosing to live your life with me. For loving me, because you make me a better person. And finally, for being my reason.
Happy Valentine’s Day, Boston.
I love you,
P.S. There is a chocolate cake in the fridge that I’m told will pair perfectly with the six-pack of stout I bought for tonight. See, I told you I wouldn’t get too schmoopy <3
